All of us who work for private organizations with proprietary information face the problem of what is and is not public. We all have the responsibility to inform ourselves on this matter and act accordingly. This seems to me a small price to pay for all the benefits of the net and no reason to refrain from legitimate uses of it. >(. . . ) Until there are some >[non-ATT 3b* machines] out there, and outside users >have questions or comments, I don't see the point to a new group. I, for one, already have questions. For example, I have advised certain clients to wait before committing to computer purchases to see what ATT is offering. In the current announcements there are almost no technical data. How much memory is in the 3B2 basic system? How much memory can be added? How many tty channels? What mass memory, Any floating point hardware? When can we order? What delivery? Surely not all of these involve proprietary matters.
