With my dog it is fleas. So, though we live in a fairly flea free area, just one bite can set the dog to scratching. Our current dog also suffers from dry skin, which sets him scratching. Our solution is to bathe him ~3 times a month using special sulfa shampoo available at the vets or a flea shampoo. audrey ishizaki hplabs!ishizaki
