         On the Last Day of a Week of Cross Country Skiing


                    As gulls, perfectly balanced,
                           sail in the wind

                       So I float down the path.

	I wrote the above, thinking it was a haiku.  However,I suspect
a haiku should not have a title almost as long as itself, so call it
a pseudo-haikku, or just a poem.


 
			Thoughts of One 55 Year Old


		         A robin sings on my lawn.


			 Winter approaches

		         Yet spring has arrived!
