The other restriction on my life- style that really bothers me, however, is the Judeo-Christian inspired and state-backed law against Sunday shopping. While I believe that the independant retailers may need the protection of having a one-day enforced holiday on all( so that they are not forced to work themselves into the ground when others hire help) I would prefer that this be the reason, and not a religious one binding onall.
