However, the theory our judicial system operates on is that a person is PRESUMED INNOCENT until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. In cases of slander and libel prosecution, the TRUTH is always a defense. If Mr. Nixon wanted to sue some of us on the net for Slander/Libel we would have the chance to prove some of the allegations. Technically, we who have publicly bad mouthed Mr Nixon on the net are the "guilty" ones. Accepting a pardon is not an admission of any guilt. Lawyers on the net - is the above a true statement ?
