The first batch of equipment arrived in Scranton PA from Bellows Falls VT.
on January 31. '84. CPR Pacific 2317 and six cars were carried dead in tow
in a special movement behind B&M/D&H Diesels. On Saturday Feb. 4th 2317
was under steam for a well publicized grand entrance into town, chuffing
through the crowd in front of the Hilton Hotel. The museaum will begin
development this summer.
