I've heard rumor that the B&M has bought several GP-40's from Conrail
Does anyone know how many, what numbers are being assigned to them,
what paint scheme, and what model they are (i.e are they -2?) ?

Conrail, meanwhile, has bought 80 GP-50's.  All I ever see in mid-Illinois
are those sometimes all but unidentifiable ICG rebuilds (an SD-?? with
3 large radiator fans but 4 exhaust stacks (no turbocharager) !!).
