I think that the arguments that God's chilluns are not as beastly as
others are very clearly denied by 2 Kings something-or-other, in which
several *dozen* children are TORN TO PIECES BY BEARS because they called
God's prophet **BALDHEAD** !!

I cannot emphasise that enough on an ASCII terminal.

If a modern Loving Father killed several of his children because they called
his favorite child names, we would call him a murderer and a sadist and
would try to lock him away -- not respect him as a moral force.

I defy you all to come up with an argument that suggests this was a
'moral act' that any reasonable person will accept.

Gee, I didn't know I was going to flame on this one...
