Personally, I cannot really attack any nation for waging war against another
nation with which it is at war.  No flames from me about the Iraq reactor
strike, etc.

I suspect that the Israelis are hit so hard for anything that even approaches
a foul because they often manifest a very annoying self-righteous attitude
that makes it a joy to catch them in a lapse.  Just as a anti-porn Evangelist
caught in a S&M parlor would probably hit the headlines.
