The existence of God is often proved by "reductio ad absurdum" a valid technique of logic. Look guys we can't re-write the early Church Fathers works on the net. Even the compelling arguments would take too long. At least try to read some of them. Most of the atheistic objections are made by contradicting the statements of the theist at least make some attempts at building a formal argument for atheism, instead of simply attacking a theists rational on the net. There is much literature on the existence of God but I know of very little on the NON-existence of God. Tell us so that we may read it. On the Richard Simmons problem: I would take it as an event which tended to verify the existence of Richard Simmons. Why extend it to prove that Simmons proves God?? You over extended the analogy. BTW this is the problem the Church has with apparitions and miracles and therfore id very cautious in declaring them as valid. By the way Faith is a gift from God freely given. Cheers all. Vince
