The characters were both interesting and entertaining. Use of hackers and a lawyer as criminals and warped personalities in no way indicates that all hackers and lawyers are such. I see no reason for Giles to be offended; he appearantly didn't understand the story. I've known both lawyers and hackers like the characters, but that doesn't mean I see them all that way.
