      A few more points to be made about roles and other social games.

  By accepting specific roles (i.e. the male as an agressor) one makes
the statement that he has conformed to his society. This is deemed good.
By going against the grain, one takes a chance of being considered an
outcast or wierdo. This is deemed bad.

  Now me being a relic of the 1960's refuse to play certain games which
society says that I need do in order to realize certain goals. To people who
know me, this refusal to play games is admired. To others whom I meet in 
everyday life, I am usually referred to as a long-hair radical junkie freak
and are shunned by them. This can be considered bad from some standpoints,
namely that I get very few dates and many dirty looks. The fact that I can
ignore all this nonsense makes me (I think) more of a THINKING human being
rather than some docile sheep being led down the path by some Judas Goat
(the television and Madison Ave. ).

   For as long as I have known, the role that I am to play is one of the
hunter. The 'goal' consists of genital satisfaction with a MOTOS. The rules
of the game consist of:

                   1) Dressing sharp          (expensive)
                   2) Showing off ones affluence  (let's use the Mercedes)
                   3) Making smalltalk        (Have you heard the latest
                                                     crisis on Dynasty ?)
                   4) Being agressive         (Your place or mine ?)

 As long as the rules are followed goals are achieved. As an experiment last
year I attracted a MOTOS via the set rules and then reverted back to my old
ways. The outcome 9 times out of 10 was rejection. I have never been asked
out by a woman even though roles are thought to be changing. And I might as
well wait until hell freezes over for that to happen.


   The point being that the role that is thrust upon the male will never
change. Socially as far as mating is concerned, the male with the most
colourful plumage will attract and capture the reconigition of the female.
This is a basic law of the animal kingdom of which we are a part. Until the
human race rises above its animal origins many roles will have to be played
according to primitive rules. (mating, war, and submission <government>.
