Being a male, I was struck by the fact that the show seemed bent on portraying us as unfeeling, insensitive playboys whose sole purpose in life is to cheapen women and keep them from having the kid THEY so dearly want. It had to be some sort of set up by NBC as they seemed to go out of their way to find only two types of persons to fuel their discussions. First, they had the woman with the ticking biological clock who wanted to settle down and raise a family. Second, they had the man who didn't care to get married or raise a family, he only wanted casual affairs and no strings whatsoever. How come NBC didn't show us some of the men who at this moment are trying to find a mate for marriage and a family but may not be succeeding. Oh, and what about carefree women who would like to be more casual in their relationships, where were they? It was interesting that when the men were interviewed, they seemed very releaxed while the women seemed to be more tense, using many hand gestures, etc. Anyway, it seems to me that shows like this do not alleviate any problems or offer any solutions, they only help to polarize the gulf between sexes. By the way, I may seem biased in my presentation of this material, probably to stimulate some discussion on the net. Good luck to all and happy hunting, Bruce Hildenbrand ATT ISL DENVER
