HOORAY FOR THE METS!!!  FLASH---- For the first time in recorded
history, the Mets have swupped a series from the Astros in the
Astrodome.  Great rejoicing can be heard throughout the land.
(Well at least in parts of Queens and New Jersey.)  They did
it with names on the roster that no one ever heard of other than
Foster and Strawberry.  They are even starting a new catcher
tonight in Atlanta.  Think of that, three guys on the starting
nine under 20 years old.  What's the world coming to?  Heard
they bought a rocking chair for Staub.  With any luck, old
Bowtie Cashin will be leaving this year so they can keep some
of the good players for a change.  I will never forgive him for
trading Ryan.

I propose that the All Star game be cancelled this year.  Why,
you ask?  Well, every time the Mets are in the top 3 of the
division at the All Star break, they fall on their kesters
when they come back.  Just so that will not happen, all Mets
fans should petition to have the game cancelled. :-)

I will be taking orders for World Series tickets next week.
I will get a big block and we can put up a big sign,
