Wheeler What are you talking about? Nolan Ryan was traded when Johnny Murphy was GM. Frank Cashen (not Cashin) only became GM when Nelson Doubleday bought the Mets. In between the two there was Butcher Bob Scheffing, the man truly responsible for the terrible shape the Mets have found themselves in since Seavver was traded to the Cincinnati Reds. Anybody seen this new kid Dwight Gooden? Is he any good? Also, I understand that Tim Leary pitched a few innings last week. How did he look?
