White Sox, 84 Champs?  Not with Seaver on the mound.  Two innings
and start the bullpen warming up.

To the same Chi fan who wanted to know what acclimatized means.  It's
like sitting in the bleachers on a sunny day and a thundershower
comes along.  If you are acclimatized, you stay put and suffer the
shower instead of running for the exit.  It also helps if it's the
end of the 8th, tied ballgame, and you already have 5 beers under
your belt.  

BTW, the Mets pulled off another late inning Expo squasher yesterday.
TODAY THE PHILLIES, TOMMORROW THE CHAMPIONSHIP!  We can dream can't we?

P.S.  Us Met fans gotta do our crowing now.  The All-Star break is
the traditional downfall of the magic.  BTW, how about some of you
other team fans adding to the ruckus?  It's all for fun and
enjoyment of the game.  I'm sure there are some serious topics
in baseball, but, I feel that if you get too serious about the
game, it detracts from the enjoyment.  Let the owners be the
serious ones and us fans just sit back and have some fun.
