There was also George Takei's appearance in "The Green Berets" and
Nimoy's role in Mission Impossible after Martin Landau left. The best
place to find lots of old startrek actors in non-startrek roles may
in fact be some of the old Mission Impossible episodes. Last year in 
the bay area one of the stations was running these (before Peter Graves
was in them) and I noticed lots of the same actors (including the actress
that played the Romulan commander and a whoever did Koloth). In restrospect
this probably isn't too surprising since both shows were Desilu productions.
