Allow me to vote no on running trivia quizzes from the STAR TREK QUIZ BOOK in
net.startrek. In other newsgroups, I've been defending the posting of song lyr-
ics, despite the case that it can be considered copyright infringement. In such
cases, it isn't clear that any damage is done, that the posting of lyrics might
interest people in buying the record that the song comes from, and thus generate
revenue for the copyright holder.
	In this case, however, running quizzes from the QUIZ BOOK here will ob-
viate the need for any of us to buy the book, and thus it *would* be causing a
financial loss to the copyright holder. In the former case, the lyrics are only
one part of the song; in the latter case, the quiz is all there is.
	Running trivia quizzes here is fine, but please try making up your own.
Any trek fan *should* be capable of that!.
