Hopefully someone will be able to fill this out for me, but I remember
the Captain playing a man dominated by his mother in one of the Outer
Limits or something like that.  The story is that he is rich (as in
his mother is) and he is travelling in Europe.  He meets a girl that
gets him to propose, only that his mother does not want him to get
married.  The Captain ends up pushing his fiancee off a cliff because
of his mother's disapproval.  Quite a change of pace to see the
Captain as a simpering wimp.
