I don't like rewriting the wheel if I can help it. It looks like I can get it up by using the CAT post processor and the QCAT translator, but that seems like a significant efficiency dig that I'd like to avoid if I can. Has anyone out there integrated a QMS (or any laser printer, for that matter) into the 4.2 Spooler? It looks like a fairly straightforward setup, but if you know of a trap for the unwary, I'd appreciate hearing about it. chuq -- From under the bar at Callahan's: Chuq Von Rospach {amd70,fortune,hplabs,menlo70}!nsc!chuqui (408) 733-2600 x242 Never give your heart to a stranger, unless you are sure that you are dead.
