	My girlfriend and I have been contemplating renting  a  houseboat
	and  cruising  a  local waterway for a summer vacation.  I have a
	rough idea of the prices involved from one of  the  local  travel
	agents, but I am curious about things not to be found in the bro-
	chures.  1 or 2 weeks on a trip of  constantly  changing  scenery
	and  some  freedom  to  wander  at will is very appealling, but I
	wonder what drawbacks there are?  Does it get boring?   Is  it  a
	real  pain to have to drive the thing all the time?  Any positive
	or negative comments would be most appreciated.
