The song "Silver Bird" was done by Mark Lindsey (remember him from Paul
Revere and The Raiders fame).  It came out around 1970 or 1971.  I used
to like that song and I've seen those Yamaha commercials quite a few times
but it never dawned on me before that it was the same tune.
