I believe that "Chewy Chewy" was originally performed by The Ohio Express
(of "Yummy Yummy..." fame).  I wouldn't doubt that it was later covered by
The 1910 Fruitgum Company, as it was very common for the Kasnetz-Katz bands
to cover each others' material (since the bands were comprised of pretty
much the same people anyway!).
