Why does the path information provided by news in the form:

	sysA!sysB!sysC!user@sysD.UUCP

which really means:

	sysA!sysB!sysC!sysD!user


There are many sites/mailers that interprete the news path format as:

	sysD!sysA!sysB!sysC!user


Which should have higher precedence the '@' sign or '!' ?
