I managed to emulate the old signal() behavior rather successfully
in the BRL UNIX System V emulation for VAX 4.2BSD.  And yes, it is
incredibly bizzare, baroque, gross, and GROADY TO THE MAX!

Another REALLY AWESOME idea implemented wrong, FER SURE.
