What to do about bugs in your sunflower seeds (or other grains)?

What I do is freeze them for a few days.  It kills off all the little 
buggers and they don't multiply.  If you don't like killing the poor
darlings, keeping your stuff in the 'fridge will slow 'em down, getting
you a longer shelf life.
