My employer had a program involving refinements on LV players, and hence there are several players scattered throughout the building, one of which I borrow from time to time. It therefore does not pay for me to purchase a disc. I do have an answer to my own question. New York Video on Lexington Ave. between 57 and 58 streets does rent laser discs. It is not very convenient, but it is the only place I know of that rents. I am interested in any titles that have strong special effects.
