  We have a Canon video camera that works great with a portable Hitachi.
You need to adjust a hard-to-reach switch on the bottom of the Hitachi to
make them compatible, though.  Thank technology for the auto focusing ---
or else, how do you keep a 2-year-old kid still for more than 5 seconds??
