Lines: 15 There is some research being done at Upjohn on the topical use of a drug called minoxidil. It was introduced as an oral anti-hypertensive drug, but one of its strange side-effects is increased hair growth on the face, arms and back (rather like a werewolf!) I guess they expect that applying it to the scalp as a lotion will localize its hair-stimulating effects, without causing changes in blood pressure.
