Message-ID: <1697@sdccsu3.UUCP> Date: Fri, 30-Mar-84 18:18:52 EST Article-I.D.: sdccsu3.1697 Posted: Fri Mar 30 18:18:52 1984 Date-Received: Sun, 1-Apr-84 08:19:53 EST Organization: University of California at San Diego Lines: 34 I have a strange problem on the adm3a terminal that I am using: when it recieves a control-G (ASCII 007) it chokes and sends strange characters to the screen then just tunes out for a second.... The settings are; bit 8 is '0' parity is 'Enabled' '2' stop bits BITS '7' data bits 'EVEN' parity Lowercase Enabled 'AUTO NL' enabled RS232 line active 'FDX' enabled and receiving at 1200 baud... It's going through a LSR Robotics Password 300/1200 Baud modem... (It's actually a big problem since I cannot log onto the computer without receiving ^G sequences, which cause the terminal to do wierd things.) (comments concerning outdated equipment etc should be routed to /dev/null as appropriate.....) Thanks! -- Dave Taylor UCSD
