In what is probably a vain attempt to make use of some of the equipment which is sitting around here doing nothing, I have dug out an old CP/M system and am trying to get it running. It is a Zapsystem Z80 (S100 bus), yes, that's right, a Zapsystem. The only problem I have is that I don't have any documentation. This system was (literally) dumped on the doorstep of one of our faculty members with a "Here, have fun"; now he can't remember who dumped it on him. The thing came without a keyboard but, with some judicious mucking about by an EE who was working for him at that time, they managed to stick a VC404 keyboard on it. This helped him make some use of it for a little while. Unfortunately, they didn't document anything they did. Now I have inherited it and find myself unable to duplicate whatever it was they did. I don't really want to turn the thing into a boat anchor, but this may be what happens if I cannot get any documentation about the system. Can anyone out there direct me towards any person/organization who might know anything about these systems? Any hints, no matter how vague will be received with open arms. -- ...!utzoo!uwo!deepthot!watmath!... ! ! magi magi (David Wiseman @ UWO Comp Sci, London Canada)
