Lines: 19 [Living sacrifice to assuage the gods of first lines . . .] In a Consumer Report of the last few months, I read a "Once Over" about a system which attached to your engine and retarded the timing when it detected a ping, and somehow or other "knew" when to let it go back to normal. Within the last week+, it was mentioned again in the San Jose Mercury. My "throw it in the pile and did it out when you need it" filing system has somehow lost not just one but both pointers.
