There appears to be a small problem in distributing the sources
for the HOC programs. Before I sent out the distribution, I
thought that I would at least talk to the publisher (ref.
gwyn's note of last week concerning copyright issues). 

Of course they will not give blanket permission to distribute
the code. They want to know all the details of what, why, when,
where and to whom. I am sending to them a request to distribute
these (HOC 6 minimally), and they promised a response in about
a week.

So until then....

Oh, one last addendum, they may agree to sending it via mail
but not to posting it to net.sources, but please hold off on the
mail messages until I get the final word.
