Message-ID: <294@ihu1g.UUCP> Date: Thu, 19-Apr-84 12:14:15 EST Article-I.D.: ihu1g.294 Posted: Thu Apr 19 12:14:15 1984 Date-Received: Fri, 20-Apr-84 02:15:06 EST Organization: AT&T Bell Labs, Naperville, IL Lines: 21 (oo) Since our mother node took a nasty hit Monday, I'm reposting this. I am looking for a good source of electronic parts in the Chicago western suburbs. What I need specifically is a VCR audio record/playback chip, Mitsubishi ref# AN262. I have cross references. Anyway, Radio Hack doesn't carry it, and neither do any of the mail order houses I deal with regularly. It seems you can get all the digital and microprocessor support stuff you want from just about anywhere, but where do you get analog and home-entertainment parts? Where do the repair shops get them? Mail order is OK too, but since my VCR is all taken apart right now, I'd like to find a source as quickly as possible. Thanks to whomever in advance. -- Bob Fishell ihnp4!ihu1g!fish
