I went tasting at their winery once (living in the Bay Area has some significant advantages *heh-heh*) and tried a wine called 'Muscato D'oro'. It was a 4% alcohol sweet desert wine made from the muscatel grape. Being excessively impressed, I immediately went looking for it in the local wine shops. No luck. If it isn't a major wine, it seems to be hard to find. Of course, if I'm willing to drive a couple of hours, I'm sure I can pick up a few bottles.... And to think there are areas of the country that not only don't have local wineries, but spend a good part of the year covered in snow! -- From under the bar at Callahan's: Chuq Von Rospach {amd70,fortune,hplabs,menlo70}!nsc!chuqui (408) 733-2600 x242 Never give your heart to a stranger, unless you are sure that you are dead.
