Big deal! In the land of white bread, the Cheetoh, and Donkey Kong Jr. breakfast cereal, we should all have realized by now that what the general public usually wants is crap. In food and drink, as in many other aspects of life, there are two things that make this country a decent place to live: artsy-fartsy pseudo-intellectual borrowings from other cultures, and the deep roots of America's regional diversity. Give me a good imported beer or a Shiner Bock, either one, and I'll be happy, but don't expect me to drink that aluminum-flavored yellow fizzwater that most people here call beer! --- Prentiss Riddle ("Aprendiz de todo, maestro de nada.") --- {ihnp4,seismo,gatech,ctvax}!ut-sally!riddle
