I also would like to see a group for discussing folk music.  I've been
reading net.music in hopes of seeing maybe ONE article about folk, and
have just that... exactly one article.  I'm a relatively new folkie
(is that a contradiction?) and wouldn't mind seeing a discussion of 
various kinds of folk music.  I don't think, however, that the purpose
of net.wobegon is the place for it; just from its name, this group has
a much narrower focus.  We should either have net.music.folk (there is
yet another discussion "raging" in net.music about subgroups), or even
better net.folkarts, or something like that, which encompasses more than
just folk music.

Any other comments...?
