Lines: 24 I've seen some proposals to do away with net.women.only, and some pretty abhorrent behavior by my gender on this net. I even came out of my shell to flame at a master of this (before a recent repentence). I wondered why I felt strongly enough to do this. First, it is because there are two unique forums here; the first for a dialogue of things woman for both men and women, something that is too much lacking in the "real" world. Second, I dont consider reading net.women.only spying, because I have heard the conversation and ideas of men all my life far out of proportion to the ideas of women. It gives a chance for women AND men to find out what women think, given no barriers. Women have a unique perspective on the world that I know. (no, no sterotype of intuition) I would hate to see this opportunity wasted by the restriction and/or misuse of either. Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to quantum leap, it's communication!! Isn't it interesting that the word networking has taken on a meaning in the world of non-electrons? l & h, kev
