According to recent news articles either: 1. Long hair on women is a symbol of power. Males interested in domination try to get them to cut it. or: 2. Long hair on women is a symbol of subservience to men, since the time it takes to care for it subtracts from the time available for advancing woman's cause. Males interested in domination like to see long hair. Um, well, maybe it doesn't mean anything more than the woman likes her hair long... By the way, the reason I have always heard for women cutting their hair after having children (not just getting married) is that babies like to pull it! Sounds like a pain... Jeff Winslow
