It is AAAI election time; members will be receiving ballots shortly, if not
already.  Once more, we are presented with a non-election for President.

There is, however, a real choice for the AAAI Council (though all the
candidates are from big-name American institutions).  Here is my opinion on how
to vote Canadian:
    C. Ray Perrault (SRI) -- late of University of Toronto CS Department.
    Ron Brachman (Fairchild) -- one of those rare Americans who has heard of
		Canada and Canadian A.I.
and in the space for write-in votes, add your favorite distinguished Canadian
researchers.
