First of all, #5 is just another wasteful complaint, edging on our needs of freedom to gain support for your opinion. Stick to logic, not "The world will end if this goes on"... Now, to #3 and #4: Think of the wisdom-tooth example. Here are four perfectly good teeth. You get them only once in your life, and teeth are EXTREMELY useful and needed. Nobody would really want to be without teeth (I would guess!). But, if the wisdom-teeth come in badly, they'll louse up the alignment of all the other teeth. A still-good and perfectly normal tooth will have to be extracted. All four, usually. Same with a fetus. If it comes at the wrong time it'll change (usually for the worse) at least two lives, possibly more. Your canines and molars and incisors have been 'used' more, your wisdom teeth you can live without. I could say the same for a fetus. No matter how valuable or worthful an object is, if it's creation will ruin the existances of two already existing objects, it shouldn't come to be. Also, I'd like to see some pro-lifer's comments on Sophie's article, since most pro-life arguements ignore her said concept. I've been accused of being selfish in my pro-choice arguements, but isn't it also selfish to save the lives of fetuses without any reguard to the impact on the lives of the parents?
