I believe two things about this: 1. Protestations notwithstanding, I believe that what you just said is behind the stand of many of the persons who consider themselves "pro-life". 2. I believe that being compelled to complete a pregnancy against one's will can well be considered punishment. What I was referring to however, was the punishment awaiting a woman who terminates a pregnancy if the "pro-life" forces succeed in making it illegal to do so.
