I think they specifically recommend that record cleaning solutions *not* be used. This makes a lot of sense, since you want to preserve the optical properties of the disc surface, rather than its topographic features. Something I think I'll try is wiping them with the solution used to clean plastic eyeglass lenses. However, I haven't had any need so far to go beyond routine care. If you handle a CD carefully, like a good camera lens (i.e., keep yer fingers off it), it should not need cleaning with solvents. -- Bob Fishell ihnp4!ihu1g!fish
