Initially, I put a dipole in my attic, surrounded by the aluminum sidng on the house. I read an article in High Fidelity about an experiment they ran where they had a different FM (only) antennae put on their roof each week. Due to that, I bought and installed a Finco FM-4G + a tripod and mast. Total cost was about $35 (in 1977), and it was the best thing I've ever done. Larry Langerholc
