hi campers!  i'm having a moving (overseas, to where it's 220v/50c) sale


turntable/arm:	walker cj55/
		 mission 774	$450	belt drive, highly rated manual tt.
					mission arm is single bearing design.
					cueing; damping capability.  currently 
					mounted with shure v15 type IV. check 
					your reviews and catalogs: this is one 
					hell of a bargain.

cassette deck:	nakamichi 582	$450	don't have to say much about this one, 
					it's still a studio standard.
					3 head, dolby b, independent bias and 
					record level adjust (and test osc.'s)
					for all tape formulations, soft-touch
					logic control of all functions.  heads
					are immaculate.  rock-steady transport.
					20hz-20khz, .05% wow/flutter.
					66db s/n with dolby b; have achieved
					80+ db using dbx II.  service manual.

cassettes:	maxell udxl II	$2.25	i have about 50 of these, sealed.
		     90 minute	 each

power amp: 	nikko alpha 3	$275	mosfet, 80w+80w, led power meters,
					very clean, .008% thd, .01% im,
					dc-100khz +0/-1db, 115 db s/n, 40v/us
					slew rate, min damping factor = 80.
loudspeaker
       system:	m&k satellites		a very smooth, economical bi-amped 
		with			system.  will handle several hundred 
		custom bass 		watts cleanly; plays *loud*.  active 
		cabinets and		eq takes bass cabinets down to 20hz
		active eq/xover	$500	flat. crossover point is selectable.
					switchable rumble filter.  this xover
					is of the "equal acoustic pressure" 
					variety: the system function takes into
					account the driver transfer functions 
					to have acoustic outputs sum equally in
					pressure, unlike conventional equal-
					impedance or equal-voltage designs.
