My 5 year old car has been diagnosed as having an oil leak
around the camshaft seal.  Sounds expensive to fix (?), so I'm
looking for another way to stop the leak.  Are any of the oil
additives at the auto stores, etc., safe and/or effective?  Do they
gum up the interior of the engine as well as plug the leak?  Do
they work at all?  Thanks in advance.
