I too am interested in a remote mounting of my Escort radar detector.
One reason I have for a remote mounting is this: Do our good "friends" in blue
(or whatever color your local police wear) get angry at Escort users
and hand out tickets for petty offenses like 59 (or less) in a 55 zone
or burnt out lights when they would normally either give warnings or
ignore you completely?
Also, does anybody know which states prohibit the use of radar detectors?
I hear they can confiscate your detector if you are using it "illegally",
is this true?
Do I sound paranoid?  Maybe I am.  I have had very bad
luck with the cops lately (hence the purchase of my Escort).
I would appreciate answers to any of the preceeding questions (with
possible exception to the last one).  Thanks.
