I am considering the purchase of 
a 1971 Chevelle 454 SS and would like some pointers 
on how to verify the originality of the car. Can anyone give me
some information on serial #'s body codes, things to look for, etc.
when trying to verify the originality? It has cowl induction and
has been redone at least once, but it appears that it was redone 
correctly. I am especially interested in engine codes, but any
help would be greatly appreciated. Also, what would a fair price be
for a condition 2 car? Thanks in advance.
