I don't see this detector sold retail in my area, although I haven't
looked a great deal.  Are they only sold through the factory?  Are
they available through any discount houses, the way stereo equipment
is?

The Escort is REPUTED to be the best detector available.  Anybody
want to dispute this?

Also, I noticed somebody else out there wanting information on
detectors.  Whoever you are, feel free to dump whatever information
you get in my mailbox...
