The present word from Pontiac is that the V6 Fiero has been postponed
indefinitely unfortunately.  They are at the limit of production and
cannot meet the demand at this point so I guess until things cool down
a bit we won't see the V6.  There is a growing number of aftermarket
parts becoming available to make the little thing screem.  The engine
can be beefed up with the Super Duty options and a sunstantial
horsepower increase can be realized even without the turbo charger.
I have some addresses of after-market items.  If anyone is interested
I will be glad to send them along.

Another route to take is to put the six in yourself!  It's easy to
do since the car uses the standard GM parts.

You might want to wait a while however to see if the six does
come along and with the rumored German 5 speed!
